By night, the tarps come down and the trompo fires up-El Vilsito becomes one of the city's most famous al pastor taquerias, serving perfectly caramelized pork with pineapple, quesadillas, and gringas late into the evening. Bourdain-featured, frequently photographed, accepts cash and card. El Vilsito holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction in the 2026 Michelin Guide, one of a small number of street-food-format taquerias in Mexico City to receive Michelin recognition.
